PADI OPEN WATER DIVER REFERRAL COURSE


The PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course is perfect for divers who have already completed the theory or e-learning portion at home and are ready to finish their training in Cabo. With this course, participants will:

  1. Complete Confined Water Training: Undertake the confined water sessions at Cabo Adventures' dive center. During these sessions, you’ll practice essential scuba skills in a controlled, pool-like environment with our professional instructors.

  2. Finish with Open Water Dives: Complete four open water training dives over two days in the clear, warm waters of the Sea of Cortez, known for its diverse marine life and stunning underwater landscapes.


This course allows you to complete the practical portions of your certification, ensuring comprehensive training under the guidance of our expert instructors.

The price for the Referral Course is $519 USD.

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER PARTIAL REFERRAL COURSE


The Partial Referral Course is a flexible option for those who have already completed both the theory or e-learning and confined water training portions at home. This course focuses on the final step:

  1. Open Water Dives: Once you arrive at Cabo Adventures' dive center, you will complete four training open water dives over two days, guided by our experienced PADI-certified instructors. These dives will solidify your scuba skills and mark the completion of your PADI Open Water Diver certification.


This option is ideal for those who want to finish their certification with minimal classroom time and maximize their dive experience in Cabo’s beautiful waters.

The price for the Partial Referral Course is $387 USD.

  • The entrance dock fee is $2 USD per person. Please note that this fee is not included and should be paid at check-in.
  • The minimum age for participation is 10 years old.
  • Expecting mothers are not permitted to participate.
  • Certified divers must provide proof of their certification.
  • In accordance with PADI's recommendations, certified divers are advised not to fly within 18 hours after completing two or more dives in a single day.
  • Participation is restricted for guests with respiratory, cardiovascular, or ear problems.
  • It is essential to refrain from diving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Divers are required to be in good mental and physical health.
  • Before participating, all participants must sign an acknowledgment of risk.
  • All divers will be asked to complete a medical clearance questionnaire.

Once you've successfully completed your online coursework and confined water training at a dive shop in your local area, your instructor will provide you with a referral form or documentation.

With this referral in hand, you can then journey to Cabo San Lucas to finalize your scuba training. Here, guided by our team of experienced instructors, you’ll participate in the four open-water dives necessary for certification.

Once you've met all the certification requirements, your instructor will validate your training and issue your PADI Open Water Diver certification card.
