NOVEMBER
Every Thursday evening until June, the art galleries in San Jose del Cabo throw open their doors and invite people to sip a glass of wine and browse the art. Many neighborhood restaurants and bars also offer specials.
Movies and TV have brought this important Mexican holiday into homes across the globe. In Cabo San Lucas, the bright altars for departed ancestors that are the hallmark of this celebration are displayed in the town’s main square of Plaza Amelia Wilkes.
Athletes in their prime come to Cabos San Lucas each year to plunge into the Sea of Cortez for a 2.4-mile swim before climbing onto a bike to traverse a 112-mile course and then completing a 26.2-mile run that travels along a 20-mile corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.
