Sustainability & Conservation

Our commitment to animal welfare goes beyond our facility. We take pride in our efforts to protect and conserve the wildlife in our oceans and beyond.

Our team works closely with local governments in Jalisco, Nayarit, and Baja California Sur, as well as non-profit organizations, to rescue animals that have been injured, orphaned, or in need of medical attention. Sometimes this help may be a small intervention, while other times it may require experts to provide the necessary medical attention, rehabilitation, and care needed for the animals to fully recover. Once the animals are healthy and ready, we release them back into their natural habitats.

To support our team's efforts, we provide them with boats, medical equipment, and human resources. Cabo Adventures also contributes to these rescues by providing loans and contributions of maritime vehicles, as well as donating medical and rescue equipment. However, our specialized human team is essential in carrying out this important work.

In addition to our hands-on rescue and rehabilitation work, we are passionate about educating the public on the importance of marine conservation. In our Marine Mammal Centers located in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, we offer a variety of interactive and educational programs designed to raise awareness about the challenges faced by marine ecosystems and the steps we can all take to protect them.

Through our dolphin encounters and sea lion interactions, we strive to inspire a sense of admiration, accountability, and stewardship in our visitors. Our educational efforts extend to local communities, schools, and organizations, fostering a culture of conservation and environmental respect.
