Why San Jose del Cabo?

San Jose del Cabo located on the tip the Baja peninsula like its neighbor Cabo San Lucas.  San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas are both located in the municipality of Los Cabos, which also includes the "hotel corridor" between the two cities.  As of 2011 San Jose de Cabo had a population of approximately 70,000 residents.

Like most of Baja, San Jose del Cabo has a dry climate - with plenty of sunshine and warm, sunny days.  San Jose del Cabo gets most of it rains during the late summer and early fall months from tropical storms in the Pacific that come up from the south and bring brief yet heavy rains.  These rains are very important to that are, as if the storms pass by without hitting Los Cabos, the area can go without rain for more than a year.

With the great weather and warm sea, San Jose del Cabo is a great place for holidays and recreation.  Most of the hotels in San Jose del Cabo are located in the hotel zone.  This area offers a stunning, long beach and is close to the quaint and historical downtown area.
